“We like the process of taking our clients’ vision and finding or creating something absolutely perfect and custom just for them. “

About Michael Lagomarsino:

Born in the beautiful city of Redwood, California, and raised in San Francisco, Michael Lagomarsino grew up surrounded by unique architectural styles and relocated to New Orleans with a vision of building his real estate career. Michael’s goal as a Realtor has always been built on a business model that was client-focused, something that Satsuma Realtors passionately advocates with its lifelong client aftercare services.

Q: Tell us why New Orleans was the perfect choice for you to grow your career and why it stands out as a valuable place to invest in the South?
A: “I’ve lived in a lot of places and I’ve always been drawn to New Orleans. I actually came here for Jazz Fest and loved the city so much that I never left! It’s been the perfect place for me to work in real estate because it’s a major world-renowned city that keeps growing. We are a port city with lots of tourism, and I only see big things happening for New Orleans.”

Michael‘s passion for real estate extends beyond the deal; his outgoing personality and involvement in his local community has inspired his passion for working on custom projects and building unique and distinctive properties across the city.

Q: Your passion for real estate is evident in your expansive portfolio and several years of experience. What areas of your job do you enjoy most?
A: “I like the process of taking my clients’ vision and finding or creating something absolutely perfect and custom just for them. I really enjoy researching new ways to find properties that others may have missed and recognizing an opportunity or a diamond in the rough. I also love the social aspect of being a Realtor and meeting and getting to know new people!”

When he’s not creating custom projects for his clients, Michael is a passionate animal advocate and an active believer in community involvement.

Q: When you’re not looking for diamonds in the rough, what are you interested in outside of real estate?
A: “I put in a lot of time with ARNO, a no-kill animal shelter, and I’m involved as a volunteer with the Toastmasters Young Leadership Club. I would encourage people to join social clubs like Toastmasters to help improve their confidence with public speaking; it’s something that I’ve found really useful being a Realtor. There are so many awesome clubs to get involved with, I wish I had time to do more of them!”

Q: Having moved to a city famous for its award-winning food, what’s your go-to restaurant/bar in NOLA?
A: “As a sushi lover, I have to recommend Haiku Sushi on Magazine Street. It’s the best sushi in town!” (Insider tip – ask for the Hello Kitty hand roll.)

Q: What advice would give anyone looking to buy a home in NOLA?
A: “Use a Realtor you like and trust. Our job is to guide you through one of the biggest purchases of your life, so building a trusting relationship with a client is paramount. I want all of my clients to know I have their best interests at heart.”

About Renae Berthelot:
Renae’s passion for real estate is heavily influenced by her own personal life and experiences. A devoted mother and wife, Renae began exploring the world of real estate to fulfill a genuine passion for helping others. She believes that the right home is an important step in securing a happy future for every family, and she finds great joy in securing sound, reliable investments for her clients.

Q: Tell us about your passion for real estate and why you decided to become a Realtor?
A: For the past several years I have been searching for a job that would allow me to make a difference and help people in some way, but still allow me to be flexible and present for my family. For the last 9 years, I have been a housewife, focused on taking care of my family. While I devoted my time to raising my daughter, I was searching for a job that would give me purpose. Now, it brings me joy to help first-time homebuyers, someone looking for an investment opportunity, or someone retiring find what they are looking for. Hearing their excitement and ideas to make the home theirs is very rewarding, and I am thrilled that I decided to get my real estate license.

Q: What advice would you give to someone looking to invest in real estate in New Orleans?
A: Be competitive, follow up with people, and don't let any lead go to waste. The key to success isn’t just investing your money, but also investing your time. With the right real estate agent to guide you, there are so many wonderful opportunities out there and together I know I can lead the way to a successful and lasting investment here in this great city.

Q: New Orleans is famous for its beautiful architecture, what’s your favorite style of home?
A: I have always been a fan of the French Colonial style of architecture we often see in creole cottages with wrap-around balconies. They are so quintessentially New Orleans, and I always enjoy admiring their unique structures. Every single one has its own special features that are unique and full of character and charm.

Q: When you’re not busy selling houses, what local spots would you recommend to someone who just moved to NOLA?
A: I would definitely have to say Port of Call for a monsoon. For the best burgers in the city, you have to visit Yo Mama's Bar and Grill, and I recommend Sammy's for some traditional home-style cooking. For live music and drinks with friends, I recommend Tipitina's, of course.
