“I like the process of taking my clients’ vision and finding or creating something absolutely perfect and custom just for them.”

About Michael

Born in the beautiful city of Redwood, California, and raised in San Francisco, Michael Lagomarsino grew up surrounded by unique architectural styles and relocated to New Orleans with a vision of building his real estate career. Michael’s goal as a Realtor has always been built on a business model that was client-focused, something that Satsuma Realtors passionately advocates with its lifelong client aftercare services.

Michael‘s passion for real estate extends beyond the deal; his outgoing personality and involvement in his local community has inspired his passion for working on custom projects and building unique and distinctive properties across the city.

When he’s not creating custom projects for his clients, Michael is a passionate animal advocate and an active believer in community involvement.

Q
Tell us why New Orleans was the perfect choice for you to grow your career and why it stands out as a valuable place to invest in the South?
A
I’ve lived in a lot of places and I’ve always been drawn to New Orleans. I actually came here for Jazz Fest and loved the city so much that I never left! It’s been the perfect place for me to work in real estate because it’s a major world-renowned city that keeps growing. We are a port city with lots of tourism, and I only see big things happening for New Orleans.
Q
Your passion for real estate is evident in your expansive portfolio and several years of experience. What areas of your job do you enjoy most?
A
I like the process of taking my clients’ vision and finding or creating something absolutely perfect and custom just for them. I really enjoy researching new ways to find properties that others may have missed and recognizing an opportunity or a diamond in the rough. I also love the social aspect of being a Realtor and meeting and getting to know new people!
Q
When you’re not looking for diamonds in the rough, what are you interested in outside of real estate?
A
I put in a lot of time with ARNO, a no-kill animal shelter, and I’m involved as a volunteer with the Toastmasters Young Leadership Club. I would encourage people to join social clubs like Toastmasters to help improve their confidence with public speaking; it’s something that I’ve found really useful being a Realtor. There are so many awesome clubs to get involved with, I wish I had time to do more of them!”
Q
Having moved to a city famous for its award-winning food, what’s your go-to restaurant/bar in NOLA?
A
As a sushi lover, I have to recommend Haiku Sushi on Magazine Street. It’s the best sushi in town!” (Insider tip – ask for the Hello Kitty hand roll.)
Q
What advice would give anyone looking to buy a home in NOLA?
A
Use a Realtor you like and trust. Our job is to guide you through one of the biggest purchases of your life, so building a trusting relationship with a client is paramount. I want all of my clients to know I have their best interests at heart.
