Tell us about your passion for real estate and why you decided to become a Realtor? |

For the past several years I have been searching for a job that would allow me to make a difference and help people in some way, but still allow me to be flexible and present for my family. For the last 9 years, I have been a housewife, focused on taking care of my family. While I devoted my time to raising my daughter, I was searching for a job that would give me purpose. Now, it brings me joy to help first-time homebuyers, someone looking for an investment opportunity, or someone retiring find what they are looking for. Hearing their excitement and ideas to make the home theirs is very rewarding, and I am thrilled that I decided to get my real estate license. |

What advice would you give to someone looking to invest in real estate in New Orleans? |

Be competitive, follow up with people, and don’t let any lead go to waste. The key to success isn’t just investing your money, but also investing your time. With the right real estate agent to guide you, there are so many wonderful opportunities out there and together I know I can lead the way to a successful and lasting investment here in this great city. |

New Orleans is famous for its beautiful architecture, what’s your favorite style of home? |

I have always been a fan of the French Colonial style of architecture we often see in creole cottages with wrap-around balconies. They are so quintessentially New Orleans, and I always enjoy admiring their unique structures. Every single one has its own special features that are unique and full of character and charm. |

When you’re not busy selling houses, what local spots would you recommend to someone who just moved to NOLA? |
A |
I would definitely have to say Port of Call for a monsoon. For the best burgers in the city, you have to visit Yo Mama’s Bar and Grill, and I recommend Sammy’s for some traditional home-style cooking. For live music and drinks with friends, I recommend Tipitina’s, of course. |
